About Rainforest Trust UK
Rainforest Trust protects threatened rainforests to save endangered species from extinction, safeguard indigenous communities and fight climate change. Through highly effective partnerships and community engagement, we can ensure sustainable results necessary for the long-term protection of tropical ecosystems and the wildlife they hold. 50% of the world’s species depend on rainforests for their survival. If tropical deforestation were a country, it would be the fourth largest emitter of greenhouse gases after China, India, and the United States. Since our founding in 1988, we have helped safeguard over 60 million acres of habitat for endangered species.
